SPECIAL INTEREST
Special Interest machines are those that are not entered in any of the above classes and do not necessarily need to be V.M.C.C. eligible. They may be any machine considered to provide interest to other motorcyclists by virtue of its history, technical merit or rarity. No award is given for this class

BEST AUTHENTIC AND UNRESTORED

An award of one year’s subscription to the Classic Motorcycle has been donated by the Editor of the magazine and will be given to the owner of the machine that, in the opinion of the judges, is the best original and unrestored machine in any of the above classes.
(subject to Editor’s support each year).

PLEASE NOTE THAT, FOR AN AWARD TO BE GIVEN, THE MACHINE MUST NORMALLY HAVE BEEN RIDDEN IN THE ARENA. EXCEPTION MAY BE MADE FOR EXTREMELY EARLY MACHINES BY ARRANGEMENT WITH THE ORGANISERS

THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES IS FINAL AND NO DISCUSSION WILL BE ENTERED INTO ON THIS MATTER BY THE TAVERNERS OR ANY OF THEIR APPOINTED JUDGES

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT ALL MACHINES ON DISPLAY MUST COMPLY WITH ROAD TRAFFIC ACT (1991) INSURANCE
